More than 380 thousand videos of users from the United States have been deleted by the Chinese application TikTok since the beginning of 2020 for inciting hatred, according to the service website. In addition, more than 1,300 accounts were blocked and more than 64 thousand comments were deleted that distributed such content or were associated with hate behavior. According to the news agency, earlier the head of the White House, Donald Trump, put forward a requirement for the Chinese company ByteDance, which owns TikTok, to sell the American segment of the company's service from the United States before September 15. Otherwise, he threatened to close the social network in the country.
