The maximum numbers of infections with a new coronavirus were recorded in the United States over the past day, CNN reports on June 27, citing data from Johns Hopkins University. During the day, 40,173 new cases were identified in the United States. At the same time, an increase in the number of infections is observed in 30 states, and nine states announced that they are not yet ready to lift the previously imposed restrictions.
