Oculus Quest will receive voice control support
The American company Facebook began testing the voice control function in the Oculus Quest virtual reality headsets. It is reported by VentureBeat. The test voice support feature has been added to 18 versions of the Oculus Quest software. Currently, only English is supported. Among the supported commands, save a screenshot, start translating the image to another device, and turn off the headset. Once testing is complete, voice support is expected to be added to the stable version of Oculus Quest firmware. Facebook acquired Oculus VR, a company specializing in virtual and augmented reality headsets, in 2014 for $2.3 billion. In 2018, the Oculus Go helmet was introduced, and a year later a more advanced version of the Oculus Quest. As previously reported by the news agency, in June, Facebook announced the cessation of further production of the basic version of the Oculus Go headset.
