COVID-19 claimed the lives of 226 Iranians in the last 24 hours
On July 30, a spokeswoman for the Iranian Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari, said that over the past 24 hours, about 226 Iranians have died in the country from coronavirus infection (COVID-19). This was reported by the Iranian agency IRNA. A spokeswoman said that taking into account 226 new deaths, the total death toll increased to 16,569 people. Over the past 24 hours, about 2621 new cases of infection were found, COVID-19 while 1588 people were hospitalized, Lari noted. According to her, a total of 301,530 Iranians were exposed to a dangerous virus, about 261,200 of them were cured or discharged from hospitals. 4041 patients with COVID-19 are in critical condition and are being treated in intensive care units, a spokeswoman said.
